Data kept on your device
You may save a vehicle make, model, model year and transmission, plus app preferences such as a preferred fuel company and a city you choose. This information is stored in FuelSaathi's app container and processed on your device. We do not receive it, operate an account for it, or use it for advertising or analytics.
Your device may include app data in an Apple-managed device or iCloud backup, depending on your Apple settings. Amit Patnaik cannot access those backups.
Data we do not collect
FuelSaathi has no user accounts, advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, cross-app tracking, sale or rental of personal data, contacts request or advertising-identifier collection. It has no camera, upload or fuel-fill feature.
The public car knowledge base is bundled with the app and may receive one-way catalogue downloads. Personal records are never uploaded with catalogue requests.
Nearby fuel
FuelSaathi requests precise location only when you open Fuel nearby and choose to search around you. The location is used to request nearby fuel-station results and calculate distance. FuelSaathi does not store precise coordinates in its app data or send them to the developer.
If you decline location access, choose a city and receive an in-app list instead. FuelSaathi may remember that city name on your device as a preference. Mapping and place information are provided by Apple's mapping service under Apple's settings and privacy terms.
Actions you initiate
FuelSaathi can open directions, official company locators, advertised telephone helplines and official web channels after you choose them. The destination service operates under its own settings, terms and privacy policy.
If you contact support by email or telephone, we receive the information you choose to provide and use it only to answer the request, investigate a correction or protect the service. Please do not send a registration number, VIN or other sensitive information unless it is necessary.
Deleting your data
Settings > Delete all local data removes the saved vehicle and preferences. Removing the app also removes its local container, subject to any device backup you control. Because there is no FuelSaathi account or developer-server copy, there is no separate online account-deletion process.

Security and children
Local app data benefits from the security controls provided by iOS and your device. Protect your device with a passcode and keep iOS updated. FuelSaathi is a vehicle-owner utility and is not directed to children.
Changes and contact
If the app's data practices change, we will update this policy, the in-app notice where appropriate, and the App Store privacy answers before or with the relevant release.
