Data Lens collects

None. Lens has no account system, developer ad network, behavioural analytics, telemetry, or personal-data collection service. It does not sell or share personal data.

Lens does not inject or earn from advertising. Amazon.in may include its own sponsored product cards unless you turn on Hide sponsored.

What Lens can read and fetch

After you grant Safari permission for amazon.in, Lens reads product information and return-policy text in Amazon.in search results so it can apply the filters you select. To verify returnability and build continuous results, Lens may fetch Amazon.in product, policy, and later search-result pages in your signed-in Safari browser context.

Those requests go to Amazon.in. Lens does not receive your Amazon password, payment details, or a separate copy of your Amazon account. It does not place orders, modify your account, or take actions on your behalf.

What stays on your Mac

Lens stores your selected filters and sorting preference in Safari's local extension storage, so your last combination becomes the default for the next Amazon.in search. It also keeps a short-lived local cache of return-policy checks to avoid repeating the same request. Removing Lens removes its local extension storage through Safari.

Brand-quality choices

Lens includes its curated brand-quality list with the app. It does not download that list or send your Amazon activity, account information, search terms, or filter choices to the developer.

Website distinction

This policy covers the Lens app and Safari extension. This public support website is separate and may receive ordinary request metadata from its host.
